About Us
Fleur de Rye was founded in Fall 2013 by Caitlyn Rylander after she moved back to Ventura from Los Angeles and fell in love with flowers by going to the local farmers markets and roadside stands.
In February 2014, she opened doors at 77 S California St. in Ventura and just celebrated 7 years in business.
She has been featured in Vogue Australia, Green Wedding Shoes, People Magazine, California Wedding Day, Us Weekly and many more publications.
Caitlyn was born November 9, 1988 in Tarzana,CA. Her family moved to Ventura, shortly after and she grew up in the Pierpont area. After high school she pursued cosmetology and moved to Los Angeles in 2007.
After a coin toss in Spring 2013, she moved back to Ventura and fell in love with flowers while going to local markets and farms. In February 2014 she opened doors at 77 S California St. to launch Fleur de Rye.
She draws inspiration from nature, fashion, Film director art direction (think Sofia Coppola and Wes Anderson had a aesthetic baby), travel (France and Italy are favs), and interior design to create her style for the arrangements she creates.
