It was such a beautiful day and McGrath Ranch and Gardens for Morgan and Neal. If you haven’t discovered this hidden gem of a venue yet, gather round, it’s perfect mix of a quiet vintage garden, but with ranch vibes that sits right in the middle of town in Ventura. So close to everything, yet feels out of the way. Venue goals.

For Morgan and Neal we focused on a flower vibe of fall tones meets textural dried and greens with a little pop of tropical. Sounds like they wouldn’t be friends, but it was SO fun to do. All those elements separately are a dream, but when you put them all together is a party.

We spent over the course of planning finding and drying different types of palm fronds and pampas grass for the different installs and spots for olive for that super textural spindly branches. Foraging always provides branches with a little more personality. The installs compliment the beautiful Paper Cliche signage. She’s an instant follow if you don’t already.

For the head table, we repurposed the two aisle arrangements for centerpieces and used the bouquets for extra decor/storage for the bridal party. The guest tables, had a sprinkling of bud vases with a mix of toffee roses, orange dahlia, dried florals, bronze orchids, and white textural flowers paired with black and gray cylinder candles provided by White Sage Events.

For a final touch, we did a trio of bunny tail grass wrapped with a black satin ribbon at each place setting. It was such a vibe for fall.
