Taylor and Jeff had me at their goal to have an alpaca at their wedding besides at being one of my favorite people (and they did it! Meet Ms. Vanna White the Alpaca). Also, following up the colorful Spanish tile influence theme with coral charm peonies, banksia, fiesta carnations and an entire truck load of bougainvillea was the greatest of treats.

The wedding was held in the courtyard of UC Channel Islands in Camarillo, California which has the best design vibes to play off of. It’s a beautiful courtyard and perfect for larger guest counts if you haven’t checked out the space for a possible venue! For table decor, we kept things simple with a textural arrangement of dried palms, eucalyptus, banksia and carnations. We used those brown bottles for table numbers so pull the brass tones from the archway and vases while introducing new textures and everyone had their own hot sauce bottles to take home or enjoy with their incredible taco truck dinner. (Highly recommend)!

To keep their sweetheart table simple, but full and fun, we styled carnations and proteas around candles and repurposed arrangements from ceremony and cocktail hour to in front of the table for added decor.

On top of it being an absolute beautiful day, I also got to work with my vendor besties Sarah on photo, Gretchen for Rental, and the bride and her family on all the insane signage. It really can’t get better than that.
